Thursday, April 2, 2026 – Karsten Holman drove in five runs on three hits to lead the Rattlers past Lee 15-1 on Thursday at Blossom Athletic Complex. Holman singled in the first scoring two, doubled in the second scoring two, and doubled in the third scoring one.
The Rattlers jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Holman singled, scoring two runs, an error scored one run, and Jayden Gomez singled, scoring two runs.
They added to their early lead in the top of the second inning when Holman doubled, scoring two runs, and Will Van Wisse grounded out, scoring one run.
The Rattlers extended their early lead with four runs in the top of the third thanks to RBI doubles by Caine Chapman, Ricky Armstrong, and Holman.
Zach Hopkins earned the win for the Rattlers. The hurler allowed three hits and one run over three innings, striking out none and walking two. Evrick Paulino and Diego Moreno each came on in relief and shutdown Lee.
The Rattlers collected 14 hits in the game. Chapman and Holman each collected three hits. Armstrong and Gomez each collected multiple hits. Brody Beck led the Rattlers with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, tallying six walks for the game. Chapman and Armstrong each stole multiple bases. The Rattlers stole six bases in the game. Their defense didn’t commit a single error in the field. Van Wisse had the most chances in the field with four.
The Rattlers will face Churchill for their next game on Tuesday, April 7th.
