Friday, March 27, 2026 – The Rattlers bested Johnson 5-3 on Friday at Blossom Athletic Complex.
The Rattlers got on the board in the bottom of the second inning after Ricky Armstrong singled, scoring two runs, Jayden Gomez singled, scoring one run, and Caine Chapman hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.
Zach Hopkins earned the win for the Rattlers. The pitcher allowed four hits and three runs (one earned) over six innings, striking out one and walking three. Sebastian Sipe collected the save.
Armstrong led the Rattlers with two runs batted in from the number eight spot in the lineup. The center fielder went 1-for-3 on the day. Gomez and Bodie Weyman each collected two hits. The Rattler defense turned one double play in the game.
The Rattlers will face Lee for their next game on Tuesday, March 31st at Northeast Sports Complex.
