Rodeo Ropin…. Rattlers Softball roped up a perfect 14-0 non-district schedule

This past week, the Softball Rattlers took trips to Lockhart High and TMI Episcopal to complete a perfect pre-district season. Super Senior Alyssa Burnett drove in four runs on two hits to lead the Reagan charge over the Lockhart Lions 15-8. Burnett tripled in the third inning, scoring three runs, and smashed an inside the park home run to center field in the sixth inning.

Lady Rattlers’ offense totaled a remarkable 17 hits in the game. Left fielder Sadie Eckles (Sr.) anchored the middle of the lineup, leading the Rattlers with five runs batted in going 4-for-4 on the day. Along with Burnett, Presley Noriega (Sr.), Mila Mancias (Sr.), Courtney Latronico (Fr.), and Kate Pendergrass (Fr.) each collected multiple hits for the Lady Rattlers.

Pitching standout, Ally Reyes (Jr.) earned her 8th win for Reagan Rattlers, giving up six hits six earned runs over seven innings, striking out 10 while only and walking two batters.

Friday night lights shone big and bright as the Rattlers took down the TMI Panthers 11-1. Junior shortstop Mina Galvan sparked the Reagan high powered offense with 3 hits which amassed a total of 15 team hits. Lady Rattlers had 4 players with multiple Rbis including, Latronico, Burnett, Eckles, and Mancias.

Ally Reyes and Carolina Santoyo both pitched 3 innings each to achieve the win for Reagan. Both pitchers surrendered 4 hits and one run over six innings, striking out six and walking three.

Our Lady Rattlers get some home cookin’ this Tuesday against the Roosevelt Rough Riders and Friday vs Madison Mavericks over at Northeast ISD softball fields off Judson Rd both at 430pm.
