Reagan Tennis Battles Through Tiebreakers in Dominant Local Showing

February 25, 2026

What an incredible day of tennis and competition for the Reagan team. Tournament after tournament, these athletes continue to give it their all, proudly defending their reputation as one of the strongest programs in San Antonio.

Competing locally against top high schools across the city, the team demonstrated grit, resilience, and unwavering determination. Several matches pushed into intense tiebreakers and even super tiebreakers — moments that tested focus and composure. Each point was fought for with heart, and the effort alone made the day something to be proud of.

With so many standout performances, we are thrilled to celebrate the final results:

Pablo Alvarez and Rodrigo Montano captured 1st place in the Boys A Doubles draw.
Ryan Totorica and Evan Wang secured 2nd place, making it an All-Reagan final.
Sabrina Scanlon and David Lopez battled through two consecutive tiebreaker victories to reach the A Draw Mixed Doubles Final, finishing as runners-up.
Milena Yovanovich and Estefania Scanlon earned 2nd place in the Girls A Doubles draw after a thrilling tiebreaker match for the championship.
We are incredibly proud of the entire team for their competitive spirit, sportsmanship, and relentless drive. The future continues to look bright for Reagan Tennis.

This Friday and Saturday, the team competes again in San Antonio at the NEISD Invitational held at Blossom Athletic Center. Come out and cheer on your school this weekend! 🎾
