Reagan Swim & Dive Finishes 2025 UIL State Championship with 3 Gold-Medal Champions, One Silver Relay!

Congratulations to the RRHS State Swim & Dive Team, led by Head Aquatics Coach Michael Rourke, who had a legendary showing during the UIL 6A State Championship Feb. 20-22 at the Lee & Joe Jamail Swimming Center on UT. Despite a highly competitive field, Reagan women finished 4th overall with a score of 132 points. Reagan men finished 11th with a score of 84.

Grant Lilly (sophomore) is the State Champion in the 500 Free (4:20.09)!

Montse Spielmann (senior) is the State Champion in the 200 Free (1:47.84) and the 100 Fly (53.02)!

Women’s 100 Back (8th prelims & 7th finals) Tessa Christiansen and (10th prelims & 11th finals) Amelia Miller.

Women’s 400 Free Relay (4th prelims & 2nd finals) *Montse Spielmann, Amelia Miller, Andy Torres Sosa and Tessa Christiansen; the 2nd place finish (3:25.63) was the first podium finish for a RRHS women’s relay in 13 years!

Men’s 400 Free Relay (7th prelims & 8th finals) Grant Lilly, Johnny Ganser, *Darryl Gaona II and Samuel Killpack.
