The offense wasted no time getting started, putting four runs on the board in the first inning. Isaiah Robledo led with a triple to center before Roberto Gadola followed with an RBI single. A Roosevelt miscue and a Darden Wetherell base hit added to the early lead.

The scoring continued in the second as Karsten Holman’s sacrifice fly made it 5-0.

Reagan broke the game open in the third, plating six runs on just two hits. Will Van Wiesse worked a bases-loaded walk, Caleb Crider delivered a sacrifice fly to bring in two, and Holman, Robledo, and Ricky Armstrong each drove in runs.

The offense tacked on seven more runs in the fourth inning. A Roosevelt error allowed two to cross, Aidan Mlynek and Gonzalo Fuentes each delivered RBI singles.

On the mound, Evrick Paulino was lights out, earning the win with three hitless innings while striking out six. Wetherell followed with two innings, allowing two hits and striking out four.
Reagan returns on Tuesday, March 18, taking on Madison at NESP.
