Reagan Aquatics Secures More Banners at the 2025 David Johnson Fall Classic!

November 2, 2025

Congratulations to the Rattlers who faced tough competition from elite teams across the 6A Region during the 2025 David Johnson Fall Classic Swim & Dive prelims/finals competition Oct. 31-Nov. 1 at the Josh Davis Natatorium and Bill Walker Pool. Led by RRHS Head Aquatics Coach Michael Rourke, the RRHS women fought for 2nd place while the men battled to 3rd place —both efforts earning the team new banners to be hung with pride, with plenty of season still left to go.

Standout Performance: A meet standout included the Reagan High School record-breaking 100 Back win for senior Tessa Christiansen with a 1st-place time of 0:55.68; Christiansen already holds the TISCA record in the 200 Back and was immortalized on two RRHS record-breaking relays (200 Medley and 400 Free) during the 2024-2025 season.

More Highlights: Rattlers also secured a 1st-Place win by the Men’s 400 Yard Free Relay, led by Grant Lilly, Charles Escobar, Kai Tse Hashemiyoon, and Caleb Liu with a time of 3:17.37; a 1st-Place win by the Women’s 200 Yard Free Relay, led by Amelia Miller, Tessa Christiansen, Addie Carpenter, and Daniela Delarue with a time of 1:37.74; and a 1st-Place win in Girls 3 Meter Diving by Chloe Ruan with 199.9 points.
