Tuesday, March 31st – The Rattlers beat Lee 4-3 on Tuesday at Northeast Sports Park.
Lee opened the scoring in the second after scoring one run. The Rattlers captured the lead, 2-1, in the bottom of the fourth after a Lee error, and Brody Beck singled down the left field line, each scoring one run.
Lee took the lead in the top of the fifth until the bottom of the seventh when Karsten Holman doubled to left field, which tied the game at three.
Connor Pictrowski earned the win for the Rattlers. The starting pitcher gave up eight hits and three runs over seven innings, striking out nine and walking none.
The Rattlers tallied nine hits in the game. Holman led with one run batted in. The right-handed hitter went 3-for-4 on the day. The Rattler defense were sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Will Van Wisse made the most plays with nine.
The Rattlers will face Lee again on Thursday, April 2nd at Blossom Athletic Complex at 5:30 p.m.
