Reagan Varsity Tennis traveled to Kemah, Texas for what has long been one of the season’s most anticipated tournaments—valued not only for the high level of competition, but for the team bonding that defines this trip year after year.
Competing across three different sites, players faced an intense schedule of three matches a day against some of the strongest talent in the region. Every point demanded focus, resilience, and grit.
Battling through injuries, fatigue, and illness, the team showed maturity and discipline, with some matches strategically cut short to preserve energy ahead of this week’s District Championship.
Several players made deep runs into the quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals, showcasing the depth and determination of this team. We are proud of the level of tennis and heart displayed throughout the weekend.
A special congratulations to Pablo Alvarez and Rodrigo Montano for earning a silver medal and finishing second in Boys Doubles—an outstanding accomplishment. Congratulations as well to Matt Hajek and Bryan Taylor, who went undefeated in their Boys Doubles matches.
Please join us in wishing the Rattlers the best of luck this Monday, the 30th, as they begin District Championship play.
Go Rattlers
