For the first time since 2016, the RRHS Swim and Dive Team placed 1st in both the men’s and women’s categories, as well as a 1st-place overall team win in this weekend’s South Zone Texas Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association (TISCA) 6A Swim and Dive Championship meet! Not new to high achievement, this is the 14th consecutive year that Reagan’s combined score has led them to overall victory during the annual two-day, open invitational held at the Bill Walker Pool and Josh Davis Natatorium. In 2022, the Reagan women won their category, while the men narrowly missed the top spot, coming in second overall.
This year, 31 RRHS athletes competed to best some highly competitive teams with 1,004 total team points! 12 swimmers had top 16 scores and 18 swimmers placed in the top 8, several others also earned new school records:
