Today senior Paris Gonzalez signed her national letter of intent to wrestle for Schreiner University in Kerrville, Texas. Paris is a four-year Reagan Wrestler letterman and two-year Captain.
Her senior season, Paris turned in a record of 36-17 with an incredible 29 pins. During her tenure at Reagan, she racked up an overall record of 79-61, and is a two-time State Qualifier.
For the 2022-2023 season, the Mountaineers qualified 4 athletes for the National Tournament. This is what Schreiner Head Coach Tarkyia Mensah has to say about Paris, “Paris sought out opportunities and growth. I loved that. I admire kids that refuse to settle, are team players and kids that are open minded. She’s gritty too which is great for wrestlers.”
