This past Valentines’ weekend, the undefeated Lady Softball Rattlers continued their dominance by cruising to a 4-0 Northside ISD Tournament record. Victories over formidable opponents such as Marshall 8-3, Stevens 7-3, Pflugerville 16-0, and Kennedy 14-0 continued a red-hot start to the 2026 Spring Season. While amassing 45 total runs, team batting average of .448 with 41 RBIs this weekend, the defense flexed its leather muscles by holding all foes to a combined total of 6 runs!
Freshman phenom, Carolina Santoyo, pitched a total of 10 innings with 14 strike outs, while her Junior counterpart, Ally Reyes threw 7 innings with 15 K’s.
Last but not least, Reagan had 2 All-Stars receive Northside ISD All Tournament honors. Third baseman Peyton Mendoza (Fr.) 7 for 11 .636 avg and 7 RBIs, and Sadie Eckles (Sr.) 6 for 10 .600 avg and 6 RBIs, were both recognized for their extraordinary performances.
Next up this week for the Lady Rattlers, are road trips to Laredo United Longhorns, and a 3-day Tournament in the Annual coastal Portland, Texas Softball Classic hosted by Incarnate Word Academy.
