Aleena Whitehead of Reagan High School Volleyball has signed her NCAA commitment
to play at Montclair State University in New Jersey, under Coach Eduardo Stawinski. A
standout dual-sport athlete, Aleena was on the Cross-Country team for three years and
played four years of Volleyball, advancing from Freshman to Varsity, where she
contributed to the program with explosive defense and strong serves. She earned
several athletic honors, including Academic All State 2nd Team and multiple district
championships.

Aleena also excelled in Club Volleyball playing at the National level, earning 5th place at
AAU Nationals in 2023, being named Baylor Volleyball Camp’s All Around Allstar in
2024, and securing Libero MVP at James Madison University Volleyball Camp in 2025.
Aleena will finish the school year competing with SA Juniors 18 Adidas. She thanks her
previous club teams: United Volleyball Association, Alamo Volleyball Association, and
SA Elite.
Aleena contributes to her community by volunteering at Haven for Hope Meal Kitchen,
making blankets for Project Linus, and participating in Key Club and Paws Cause at
Reagan High School.
Academically, Aleena was inducted into the National Honor Society and Science
National Honor Society and will graduate Magna Cum Laude. She will pursue a
Bachelor of Science in Nursing, combining her love for science with her passion for
helping others.
