November 14, 2017 – Elissa Barbosa, Senior, Rattler Volleyball, has been named District MVP! This is the first year for this prestigious award in NEISD.
Barbosa, a 4 year letterman for Reagan Volleyball, plays Outside Hitter and has led the team in kills for the past 4 seasons. In addition to being named District MVP this year, Barbosa also received the following honors and awards:
- 1st Team All District (unanimous)
- Under Armour All-American Honorable Mention
- Outstanding Hitter and All Tournament Team, Adidas Pearland Classic
- All Tournament Team, Leander Volleypalooza
- All Tournament Team, New Braunfels Fraulein Volleyfest
Congratulations to this amazing Rattler who will be continuing her Volleyball career at Georgetown University after graduation!
