This week has been huge for your Rattler Wrestlers as last night Varsity celebrated our Seniors and defeated Burbank, Wagner and LEE in the last regular season Quad Meet. Tonight JV soundly won the District Championship for the THIRD YEAR IN A ROW with EVERY SINGLE WRESTLER PLACING!
Varsity boys beat a combined Burbank & Wagner 59-12 and the girls won 42-0. The boys beat LEE 60-9 and the girls’ secured a victory that came down to the last match, winning 24-18. We also celebrated our 13 Seniors, honoring them before the start of their last regular season Meet: Lauren Beach, Ricardo Buendia, Joel Cardenas, Maxime Collier, Nick Foley, Addison Garcia, Ethan Gutierrez, Ryan Harwood, Zarek Hernandez, Amir Musalli, Chase Puricelli, Victoria Rodriguez and Anthony Therriat…thank you for your contribution to the program over the years – we will miss you all!
Junior Varsity dominated the JV District Meet for a THREEpeat, scoring a cumulative 194 points with the next closest team being Johnson with 110 points. This program’s future looks strong!
