Reagan Athletics is privileged to announce the addition of coach Jimmy Cueva to the coaching staff and Reagan family! Coach Cueva will serve as the Football Running Backs coach as well as a Track & Field coach.
He graduated from Churchill High School where he was a multi-sport athlete excelling in Football, Basketball and Track. He went on to study at Texas A&M University earning his degree in Education. He has spent the last 28 years coaching and teaching in NEISD. Most recently he was at Johnson High School for 12 years, Madison High School for 13 years and Driscoll Middle School for 2 years.
Coach Cueva states that his coaching highlight is “Being apart of 2 State Semi-Finalist Teams.” His personal highlight is “Getting to see kids you coached 5, 10, 20, 25 years ago and how successful they’ve become and knowing you were a small part of that.”
Coach Cueva has been married to JoAnn for 19 years, and they have a son Cole (17) and daughter Caroline (15).
