Here are the nominees for the WOAI News 4 Brake Check High School Football Play of the Week:

#1: Comes from the Jefferson-Lanier game. Jeff’s Eric Flores returned a punt — complete with “tippy toe” down the sideline — all the way for a touchdown. Jefferson beat the Voks 15-14.

#2: Comes from the Reagan Rattlers. Check out the throw from Reagan QB Kellen Mond. It’s a moon shot deep to Connor Heffron. This one went for an 85 yard touchdown. Reagan jumped all over East Central and never let up. 51-7 was the final.

#3: Central Catholic QB Joseph Nava was looking like Johnny Football! He reversed field not once, but twice and finally threw it into the end zone for the touchdown to Joe Aldrete. Central beat Devine 35-12.
