The Kemah Boardwalk Invitational, held last Friday and Saturday, is the final warm-up tournament for our Rattlers before District play this week. Traditionally, it is the most fun tournament of the year since all participating teams hang out at the Kemah Boardwalk Friday night. Rattlers were also treated to a 10-pound cinnamon roll Saturday morning that all players shared to kick start the day.
Congratulations to Jon Totorica (junior), who won his first four matches of the tournament in straight sets, to take second place in the tournament when he fell to a Houston Memorial High School senior in a 10-point tie break in the finals. Kathy He (senior), placed 5th in girls singles.
NEXT UP: Reagan tennis starts playoffs at the district tournament on March 30-31. Matches will be played at Blossom Tennis Center.
