Thiel Goes Yard as Reagan Dominates Roosevelt 21-0

It was all Reagan on Wednesday afternoon at the ballpark as the Rattlers defeated Roosevelt 21-0 in three innings. Pitchers Presley Noriega and Shannon Rohrbach gave up just two total hits to the Rough Riders, while striking out five.
Offensively, the Rattlers racked up 15 hits. Sophomore Macie Thiel led the way going 4-4 at the plate with an over-the-fence homerun, a double and two singles, bringing in 5 RBI. Shreya Fifadara added 3 hits (a triple and 2 singles) with an RBI, while Alyssa Burnett (2 singles, 3 RBI) and Leila Reyes (2 singles, 2 RBI) each had two hits apiece. A’mari McMath (single), Sadie Eckles (triple), Avery Allen (single, RBI), and Ashley Swetonic (single, 2 RBI) each contributed a hit in the victory.
The Rattlers hope to continue their good Spring Break play when they return to the diamond next week. They will take on Brandeis Tuesday, March 21 at 4:30.
