Sthele signs NLI for University of Texas Baseball

Travis Sthele made his commitment official today by signing his National Letter of Intent to play baseball at the University of Texas – Austin.

Travis is a 4 year letterman in Reagan Baseball as both shortstop and pitcher and contributed to Reagan’s 2017 and 2018 State Finalist teams. Over his high school baseball career, Travis has received numerous national and local accolades including:

– Perfect Game Underclass All American First Team 2019
– MLP Prospect Development Pipeline (PDP) 2019
– Unanimous District MVP 2019
– Super Team and All Area pitcher 2019
– Area Code – Rangers 2019
– 6A State Finalist 2018
– All District First Team Pitcher 2018
– Underclass Area Code – Rangers 2018
– South Texas Sliders MVP 2018
– 6A  State Finalist 2017
– Underclass Area Code – Nationals 2017

In addition to baseball, Travis also lettered 3 years in Reagan Football as Quarterback for the Rattlers and earned the following recognition:

– 1st Team All District 2018
– 1st Team All Area Quarterback 2018
– 2017 Offensive Newcomer of the Year 2017

Travis is equally committed to his academics and is a member of the National Honor Society and will graduate Summa Cum Laude in May 2020.

Baseball Head Coach, Chans Chapman, commented today that “Travis is an intense competitor who makes everyone around him better”!
