Christina Nunez

cnunez@neisd.netCoach Christina Nunez joins Reagan in 2021 as Assistant Girls Soccer Coach. Nunez spent the previous six years at Roosevelt High School as their Head Girls Soccer Coach. Her first year of teaching and coaching was at Wood Middle School. At Reagan, she will also be a co-teacher for Environmental Systems along with the Assistant Girls Soccer Coach.
Coach Nunez earned her Bachelor of Science in Health and Sports Science Education from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. She also holds certifications in Health, PE, and Special Education.
She’s a proud NEISD student graduating from MacArthur High School. While at MacArthur, she played Soccer, Volleyball, Cross Country, and ran Track.
Soccer is her passion and Nunez has been playing for over 29 years. During the summer of 2021, Nunez even played soccer for the semi-professional women’s team, San Antonio Blossoms. She’s also been coaching club soccer for the past three years in the San Antonio area.
Coach Nunez also has three awesome dogs: a chocolate Labrador, a Greyhound/Whippet mix, and a Golden Retriever.

Jamey Howard
Head Athletic Trainer
jhowar@neisd.netCoach Howard joined the Reagan Athletic staff in 2003 and is currently our Head Athletic Trainer for all sports. Prior to Reagan, Coach Howard spent 8 years in the field at Fredericksburg and Clemens High Schools.
Coach Howard graduated from Angelo State University with a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. He is also a Certified Athletic Trainer and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
He attended San Angelo Central High School where he excelled in Basketball and Track.
Coach Howard is married to Lexy and they have two children, Hadlee and Hilton.

Joe Martinez
Athletic Trainer
jmarti20@neisd.netCoach Martinez joined Reagan in 2015 as an Athletic Trainer and also teaches Sports Medicine. Prior to Reagan, he was the Athletic Trainer for the football team and women’s golf at the University of Colorado.
Martinez earned his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Texas and a Master of Science in Sports Administration from the University of New Mexico. He also is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT), and Certified Teacher in Physical Education.
He graduated from San Diego High School where he played both Football and Basketball.
Coach Martinez is married to Savannah and they have one child, Austin Marie.
