Coach Aki joined Reagan in 2018. He not only coaches our golf teams, but teaches World Geography. Aki holds teaching certifications in Social Studies, Physical Education, and Health.

Prior to Reagan, Aki worked within NEISD teaching and coaching football and baseball at Churchill (2016-2019) and Madison High School (2014-2016).

He began his career teaching and coaching at East Bernard High School where he coached golf, football, baseball, and powerlifting. During this time, the Brahma's earned the following state and regional titles:  2014 Regional Champions  and 3rd Place State tournament Girls Golf; 2013 and 2014 Individual Girls State Champion Golf; 2013 and 2014 Boys Regional Champions Golf; 2013 Regional Runner up Girls Golf; and 2012 Football State Championship.

Aki began his college career at the University of Mary Hardin Baylor where he also played football. He then transferred and graduated from Texas State University with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science with a minor in History.  While at Texas State, Aki was the Program Director/Lead Instructor for their Junior Golf Program.

He graduated from Katy High School where he played football and was a part of their 2003 State Championship team. In addition, he also golfed for the Katy Tigers.

Coach Aki is married to Emily and they have 3 children: Katy, Maile, and Emma.

Coach Anguiano was born and raised in Laredo, Texas, and is a graduate of J.W. Nixon High School.  After graduating from high school, he attended the University of Texas at San Antonio where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology.

He began his coaching career in 2000 with United ISD in Laredo at Garcia Middle School.

In 2003, Coach Anguiano was hired as the varsity assistant boy's basketball coach at Lyndon B. Johnson (LBJ) high school in Laredo. There he took part in opening a new school and starting the basketball program with then head coach Frank Gonzalez. In their third year at LBJ, the Wolves made the playoffs for the first time in the school's short history and won the District Championship as well.  While at LBJ high school, he also coached football for the late Head Coach/Campus Coordinator Mike Medina and also coached softball with then Head Coach Javier Morin.

In 2007, Coach Anguiano and his wife relocated to San Antonio and he was hired at Stevens High School in Northside ISD.  While at Stevens, he was fortunate enough to work with Coach John Hirst and his basketball staff.  In three seasons at Stevens, the Falcons qualified for the playoffs every season, won back to back District Championships (in 2008 and 2009), won two Bi-District Championships, and one Area Championship.

In 2010, Coach Anguiano was hired as the varsity assistant basketball coach at Reagan High School.  Since 2010 the Rattlers have won 4 District Championships, 5 Bi-District Championships, and one Area Championship.

In addition to basketball, Coach Anguiano is also an assistant coach for the Rattler track team.

He is married to his wife, Mirna, and has two daughters, Elise and Alexia.

Heather Boss-Durante

Coach Heather Boss-Durante grew up in the San Antonio area and has coached high school soccer since 2004 at Warren, Brandeis, and now Reagan High School.  As the Head Girls Coach at Brandeis HS, she won multiple District Championships and guided several players to play in college as well. In 2018, after the Reagan Boys Soccer team was a State Finalist, Coach Boss-Durante was named Boys 6A Region IV Assistant Coach of the Year by the Texas Association of Soccer Coaches (TASCO).

In addition to coaching soccer, she also teaches Forensics Science at Reagan.

Coach Boss-Durante holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of Texas in Austin and a Masters in Sports Psychology from the University of Texas Permian Basin. Coach Boss played collegiate soccer at The University of Texas in Austin.

She attended Smithson Valley High School where she ran cross country and played soccer and basketball.

She is married to husband, Tony, and has two children, Anthony and Emilee.

Chans Chapman was born and raised in Hallettsville, Texas. He played football and baseball at Hallettsville High School where he was a 3 year starter at quarterback and punter, and was a four year starter at shortstop and pitcher in baseball. He was All District and All State multiple times in both sports. During his baseball career in high school, he was a part of 3 teams that advanced to the Regional Finals. In 1992, he played on team that was a  State Semi-Finalist. He attended the University of Houston on a baseball scholarship and ended up graduating from East Texas Baptist University.

After graduation, Coach Chapman coached at Rice Consolidated, Garrison, and El Campo before coming to Reagan. In 2001, Garrison was beat by Celina in the 2A State Championship game. In 2003, while at El Campo, they were Regional Finalists, losing to La Marque, who eventually won the State Championship.

Since coming to Reagan in 2004 as the Head Baseball Coach, Coach Chapman's teams have won 9 District Championships, 11 Regional Finals trips, and State tournament appearances in 2014, 2017, and 2018. The 2008 team was ranked as high as #5 in the nation by Baseball America. The 2009 team ended their season ranked #17 in the country by Baseball America. In 2014, Reagan won their first Regional title and finished as the State Runner-up in 5AAAAA. That team finished ranked in the top 25 in the country in the Max Preps rankings. Coach Chapman was named SA Express-News Coach of the Year in 2014 also. He  has been fortunate to have coached many All State players, have players that moved on to play college baseball and even some that have been drafted and went on to play Pro baseball. He has an overall record of 338 wins and 85 losses. Included in that record is 49 wins in the playoffs.

As an Assistant Football Coach at Reagan, Coach Chapman has been a part of 5 Regional Finalist teams and several other playoff teams. He has coached receivers and called the JV offense. Currently, he is the Head Freshmen Football Coach.

Coach Chapman is married to Jennifer, a kindergarten teacher at Tuscany Heights Elementary. They have two daughters, Jacy and Reese.

Larry Correa

Larry Correa attended East Central High School, where he played football, basketball, and ran track. Coach Correa received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). While at UTSA, Coach Correa played on the men’s club volleyball team.

Coach Correa joined Reagan in 2004 and currently is Assistant Volleyball and Assistant Softball coach. In 2016, he was part of the coaching staff that took the team to the UIL State Volleyball Semi-finals.

He also has coaching experience in football, boys basketball and track. Prior to coming to Reagan, Coach Correa taught and coached at Jackson Middle School and Holy Spirit Middle School. In 2001, he led the Incarnate Word Shamrocks to a Volleyball State Championship. Coach Correa also coaches club volleyball.

Coach Correa and his wife, Yvonne, have two daughters, Laryssa and Madeline ("Maddie"). He enjoys playing competitive volleyball and watching his daughters play volleyball and dance.

Coach Jimmy Cueva joins Reagan in 2020 as the Football Running Back coach as well as Assistant Track coach. Cueva also teaches World History.

Coach Cueva spent the last 28 years coaching and teaching in NEISD.  Most recently he coached at Johnson High School for 12 years, Madison High School for 13 years and Driscoll Middle School for 2 years.

He graduated from Texas A&M University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Education.

Coach Cueva is also an NEISD graduate from Churchill High School where he was a multi-sport athlete excelling in football, basketball and track.

Coach Cueva states that his coaching highlight was being a part of two State Semi-Finalist Teams. His personal highlight is getting to see kids he coached 5, 10, 20, 25 years ago and see how successful they’ve become and knowing he was a small part of that.

Coach Cueva is married to JoAnn, and they have a son, Cole, and daughter, Caroline.

Lyndon Hamilton

Coach Lyndon Hamilton graduated from Luling High School in 1994 where he played football, baseball, ran track and was active in the FFA. Coach Hamilton continued his education at Texas A&M Kingsville, where he played football for Coach Ron Harms and Richard Cundiff. Hamilton graduated with a major in Kinesiology and minor in Biology.

Coach Hamilton started his coaching career in the Houston area, at Rosenberg Terry High School. He coached at Terry for six years. Family ties brought Coach Hamilton back to the San Antonio area. He spent seven years at Roosevelt High School, where he served as Defensive Coordinator and Head Soccer Coach. He moved to Reagan in 2012 as Defensive Coordinator under Coach David Wetzel. He took over the Head Coach position in 2016 when Wetzel moved on to Baylor University.

Hamilton is a member of the Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA) and the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) and an affiliate of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).

Coach Hamilton is married to wife, DLaine, who is a Kindergarten teacher. They have two boys, Drew and Bryce. Drew is former Rattler and graduate of the class of 2020. Bryce is currently a Rattler in the class of 2022.

Hamilton is passionate about leading and coaching our Rattlers. His motto is to start fast and finish strong. He is excited about the future and will work hard to insure excellence, on and off the field.

David Daniel

Coach Daniel has been the Head Tennis coach and an English teacher at Reagan High School since the school opened in 1999. In the first 16 years of the program, Reagan tennis teams have advanced to the playoffs in Team Tennis in 14 of those years (including District Champions and Region IV-6A Finalists the past two years) and qualified individuals for the Individual State Meet in 8 different years, including the last 6 in a row.

Coach Daniel was named San Antonio Express News High School Tennis Coach of the year in 2004, and he is a certified Teaching Professional through the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) out of Hilton Head, South Carolina. Active in the Texas Tennis Coaches Association (TTCA), Coach Daniel currently is on the Board of Directors as the 6A Classification VP and has previously served as the Region IV-6A coordinator and co-coordinator.

Coach Daniel received his Bachelor’s Degree in English from Baylor University, his teaching certification from the University of Texas at Austin, and his Master of Arts in Literature from Texas State University.

Coach Daniel originally hails from Taylor, Texas, graduating from Taylor High School, home of the Fighting Ducks, in 1990.

Coach David Daniel is married to Allison Dennis Daniel, an Instructional Coach in Mathematics at Garner Middle School. They have two children, Deuce and Andra.

Coach DeMasco began his coaching career in 2003. Prior to Reagan, Coach DeMasco coached at Jay, Roosevelt, Brandeis, Madison, and MacArthur High Schools. He joined Reagan in 2016 and coaches both Football and Baseball for the Rattlers. His coaching highlight was coaching the Reagan Baseball in the 2018 UIL State Baseball Tournament.

DeMasco played Baseball and earned his Kinesiology degree at Lubbock Christian University in Lubbock, Texas. He graduated from Tivy High School in Kerrville, Texas.

Coach DeMasco is married to Melissa and they have two children Ava and Tyler (both future Rattlers).

Coach Fair began coaching in 2005 and joined Reagan in 2017. He coaches Football and also teaches Government at Reagan.

Fair played football and earned a degree in political science from Angelo State University.  He then earned his masters degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University.

As part of a military family, he was born in Belgium, but calls Killeen, Texas, his home.  Coach Fair began his career in education at his alma mater, Killeen High School. At Killeen, he excelled in Football, Baseball, and Track, and also participated in Tae Kwon Do. Prior to Reagan, he spent time teaching and coaching at Brandeis, Shoemaker, and Southwest high schools.

His wife, Linda, also works within public education and serves as an Assistant Elementary School Principal. They have three daughters, Sophie, Jolie, and Auvie.

Coach Finch joined Reagan in 2018 to coach both Football and Track. Prior to Reagan, he coached at Hays High School in Buda, Texas, since 2004.

Finch played football at Blinn Junior College and University of Houston. He earned his degree from Texas State University.

Coach Finch grew up in Harlingen, Texas, and attended Harlingen High School where he participated in Football, Basketball, and Track.

Coach Finch is married to Kellie and they have three children, Camdyn, Stell, and Owen.  He also enjoys the outdoors, fishing and hunting.

Rachel Freeman

Head Coach Cross Country/Assistant Girls Track

Rachel Freeman joins Reagan in 2020 as Head Cross Country and Assistant Track and Field coach.

Prior to joining Reagan, Coach Freeman was assistant cross country and track coach and a Special Education teacher at Stevens High School in NISD. While at Stevens, the girls cross country team and individual boys were regional qualifiers both years.

Before Stevens, Coach Freeman spent 4 years as Assistant Coordinator at Eisenhower Middle School in NEISD.  While there, she coached basketball and track, taught PE and served as the Department Chair for PE and Health.  She also led numerous athletes to the Meet of Champs.

She began her teaching and coaching career in 2006 as an assistant coach at Gregory-Portland High School.  While there, the girls won 7 consecutive 28 4A District Championships in cross country and track and field and the 2010 Region 4 track and field team title. During her tenure at Gregory-Portland, she coached multiple individual regional and state qualifiers in both cross country and track and field.

Coach Freeman graduated from Rockport-Fulton High School where she was a 3 sport varsity letterman and a 3 time State qualifier in cross country and track. After high school, she attended Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi where she served as team captain for the Islander women's cross country and track teams while earning her B.S. in Kinesiology. While earning her M.S. in Secondary Education, she coached a 3x NCAA D1 National Champion in the 5000 and 10,000 meters.

Coach Freeman loves coaching because of the kids and the passion she has for the sport. She shared, there is no other feeling quite like helping young athletes develop character traits such as persistence, determination, dedication, resiliency, discipline, work ethic, heart, selflessness, leadership and love for yourself and a team - not just in competition but in life.

Coach Freeman is married to Greg and they have a son, Dash. Her and her family love the outdoors and creating family memories. They took a 20 day, 7500 mile, cross country road trip visiting 13 states, 2 countries and tent camped in Yellowstone National park.

Coach Gloria Garcia came to Reagan in 2015 as Assistant Coach for both Volleyball and Girls' Basketball. Previously, Coach Garcia was at Laredo United South High School, where she was the Head Volleyball Coach and Head Basketball Coach for the 2011-2013 seasons. She also coached at Donna High School in Donna, Texas, after beginning her career in 2006.

A Harlingen native and Harlingen South graduate, Garcia went on to play basketball at Texas A&M International University in Laredo. She received her bachelor’s degree in Fitness and Sports with a minor in Mathematics, in 2006, and her Master’s Degree in Educational Administration in 2014. Currently she is completing her certification in Administration.

Coach Garcia is married to her husband, Marc, and they have 4 children: Stevie, Sebastian, Lauren, and Mason (3 of whom are proud NEISD students).

Coach Griffin began coaching Football for Reagan in 2015. Prior to that, he built his coaching career beginning in 1997 at high schools all over Texas, including: Roosevelt and Brandeis in San Antonio; Fossil Ridge in Fort Worth; Fort Bend and Kempner in Sugarland; West High School in West; and Bosqueville in Waco.

He graduated from Texas A&M University with a BS degree in Kinesiology/Sports Management in 1994. He received his MS degree in Educational Administration from Texas A&M Kingsville in 2007.

Coach Griffin grew up in the small town of Tivoli, Texas. He moved to Breckenridge, Colorado, during high school and was an All-District player in Football, Basketball, Track and Tennis.  He was also a member of the UIL Debate team.

Coach Griffin is married to Yvonne and they have a daughter, Mikaela Dawn.

Coach Griscom is beginning her 21st year teaching and coaching. She has coached high school basketball, soccer, softball, track and volleyball.  Coach Griscom earned her Bachelor's Degree from Texas A&M University - College Station and her Master's Degree from Texas State University.

She is married and blessed with three children. Her oldest child graduated from Reagan H.S.  and attends Trinity University. Her other two children proudly attend NEISD schools.

Coach Howard joined the Reagan Athletic staff in 2003 and is currently our Head Athletic Trainer for all sports. Prior to Reagan, Coach Howard spent 8 years in the field at Fredericksburg and Clemens High Schools.

Coach Howard graduated from Angelo State University with a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.  He is also a Certified Athletic Trainer and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

He attended San Angelo Central High School where he excelled in Basketball and Track.

Coach Howard is married to Lexy and they have two children, Hadlee and Hilton.

Coach Hernandez joined Reagan in 2018 as a Special Education Teacher, Assistant Football Coach, and Assistant Wrestling Coach.  He went to Ripon College where he played Football and then finished his degree at Texas A & M San Antonio with a degree in Special Education.

He is from San Antonio and is a graduate of NEISDs Roosevelt High School, where he participated in Football, Track, PALS, National Honor Society, Student Council, and the Unity Club.  While there, he received the TR Spirit & Leadership award and the Wittiest Senior honor.

In his free time, he volunteers for several local organizations including TEDxSA, Culinaria, United Way, and 2Ten Development.

Coach Hinton joined Reagan in 2018 to teach Health and coach Football and Softball. Prior to Reagan, he spent 10 years teaching and coaching. From 2016-2018, he was at Jack C. Hays High School in Buda, Texas, where he was the Offensive Coordinator/Wide Receivers coach, Freshman Baseball coach, and taught in the Special Education and History Departments. During 2015-2016, Coach Hinton was at Oak Ridge High School in Conroe, Texas, where he served as the Wide Receivers coach, JV Baseball coach, and taught Special Education.

His undergraduate degree was from Baylor University where he worked for the Bears Football team as a Student Assistant/Manager and got to experience being part of a Division I college program. After graduating from Baylor, Coach Hinton went on to West Texas A&M University where he completed his Master's degree and served as an Assistant Coach working with the Wide Receivers for the 2008-2014 seasons. While at West Texas A&M, the Buffaloes won 2 bowl games (Kanza Bowl in 2009 and 2011), had 4 NCAA playoff appearances (2008, 2010, 2012, and 2013), and reached the National Semi-finals in 2012 and the National Quarter-finals in 2013.

Coach Hinton grew up in Kerrville, Texas and graduated from Tivy High School in 2004 where he played Football and Baseball for the Antlers.

 

 

 

Coach Hinton is married to his wife, Jessica, and they have 4 daughters (Sawyer, Peyton, Mabry, and Landry).

Coach Hirst, a native of Harlingen, Texas, began his coaching career at his high school alma mater, Harlingen High School. Coach Hirst was fortunate to serve as an assistant to Hall of Fame basketball coach, Carl Owens. While at Harlingen, the Cardinals won three consecutive District Championships, three Bi-District Championships, and three Area Championships. After a one year stint as the assistant at McAllen High School, where he helped Coach Greg Kiger and the McAllen Bulldogs record the best record in school history and a spot in the Regional Tournament, Coach Hirst took his first Head Coaching job at Los Fresnos High School.

In the five years he served as Head Coach at Los Fresnos, Coach Hirst led the Falcons to five consecutive winning seasons, and four post-season appearances. In 2002, Coach Hirst became the assistant at Clark High School, working with Coach Kevin Hamilton. In three seasons at Clark, the Cougars won two consecutive District championships, two consecutive Bi-District Championships, and one Area Championship. In 2005, Coach Hirst was named Head Coach and given the opportunity to open Stevens High School in San Antonio. In four years (the first year, Stevens was not eligible for varsity competition), Coach Hirst's Falcons never won fewer than 20 games, qualified for the playoffs every season, won back to back District Championships, two Bi-District Championships, and an Area Championship.

In 2010, Coach Hirst was offered the Head Coaching position at Reagan High School and has recorded four District Championships, five Bi-District Championships, and one Area Championship. The Rattlers also recorded the best record in school history (30-6) on Coach Hirst's watch. His record is 420 – 226 overall and 217 – 120 at Reagan.

Coach Hirst just completed serving as the Committee Chairman for the THSCA Basketball Advisory Committee. He also previously served as THSCA Regional Director, THSCA All-Star Committee Chair and as the TABC All-Region/All-State Selection Chairman. In addition, he was selected as the RGV Coach of the Year, and presented at numerous basketball clinics across the state of Texas. He is a member of the THSCA, TABC, NABC, and NHSBCA. He has Degree's from Texas Tech University and Grand Canyon University.

Coach Hirst has been married to his beautiful wife, Christie for 28 years. They have two sons, Jordan (23) and Jacob (20).

Jennifer McHugh

Coach McHugh graduated from LaVernia High School in 1997 where she participated in cross country, track, and cheerleading. She attended the University of Texas at San Antonio where she earned a B. A. in English and later earned a M. Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction. Coach McHugh is USA Track and Field Certified and is a Professional Member of the National Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association. Five of her track athletes since 2014 have been awarded the NSCA All-American Award.

Coach McHugh began her career in education at Theodore Roosevelt High School in 2002—teaching English and coaching girls track. Coach McHugh enjoyed eight years at Roosevelt. In 2009 and 2010, her teams won the 25-6A Girls Track District Titles and were Regional Runners-Up. She coached 24 athletes to the 6A State Track Championship with four state medalists and one team placing eighth.

In 2010, Coach McHugh made the move to Reagan High School where she has coached cross country and girls track and has taught English and physical education classes. At Reagan she has coached 37 athletes to the 6A State Track and Cross Country Championships, with three athletes earning state medals. Coach McHugh’s cross country teams have won nine 26-6A District Titles in a row, and her girls track team has won four consecutive District Championships from 2016 to 2019. In 2019 Coach McHugh’s girls celebrated an undefeated regular season in addition to back-to-back District, Area, and Regional Championships. Before the spring season was cut short in 2020, the Reagan girls were again leading Region IV in Track and Field.
<p style="text-align: left">Coach McHugh has a genuine passion for her career, but undoubtedly, what defines her most is her family and faith. She has been married to her best friend, Troy, for 21 years and adores her ten-year-old daughter, Gabriella. Gabby is a developing pole vaulter and long jumper who loves running with the track girls, traveling, and spending time with her cousins. Coach McHugh’s favorite moments include family road trips, days on the lake, and workouts with G. To have a family who shares her passion for building athletes and teaching young people about life through sports, is one of Coach McHugh's greatest blessings. She is beyond grateful to be a member of the Reagan Nation and to serve the Rattler community.</p>

Coach Martinez joined Reagan in 2015 as an Athletic Trainer and also teaches Sports Medicine. Prior to Reagan, he was the Athletic Trainer for the football team and women’s golf at the University of Colorado.

Martinez earned his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Texas and a Master of Science in Sports Administration from the University of New Mexico. He also is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT), and Certified Teacher in Physical Education.

He graduated from San Diego High School where he played both Football and Basketball.

Coach Martinez is married to Savannah and they have one child, Austin Marie.

Coach Martinez joined Reagan in 2020 as Assistant Golf Coach and to teach Government and Economics. Previously he was at IDEA Carver College Preparatory in San Antonio where he taught Texas History and World Geography.

Coach Martinez graduated from Texas A&amp;M University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History.

He's originally El Paso, Texas, but moved to San Antonio in 1999 and graduated from NEISD's MacArthur High School in 2009.

Kathleen McCollum-Mudge

Coach McCollum begins her 2nd year as Head Girls Soccer Coach at Reagan and 22nd year of coaching soccer and teaching English. Prior to Reagan, she taught and coached in NEISD at Nimitz and Driscoll Middle Schools.

She is a Texas A &amp;amp;amp M graduate where she received her degree in history with minors in English and Physical Education. During college, she was on the Equestrian Team and played Club Soccer.  She also graduated from Judson HS in Converse, Texas.

When Coach McCollum is not coaching high school soccer, club soccer, or teaching senior English, she enjoys spending time with her family: husband Rick, and children, Sophie and Jack.  They enjoy riding horses, raising bunnies, watching Sophie cheer, and rooting Jack on at soccer and baseball games.

Coach Paul Miller has been coaching and teaching for 18 years. He has spent the past 4 years at Reagan teaching World History and Economics and being an assistant coach for Football and head coach for Wrestling. Previously, he taught and coached in NEISD at Wood Middle School and Madison High School.

Coach Miller graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science, and a minor in History and Education.

Prior to college, he attended Clark High School in San Antonio, where he played Football, Baseball, and ran Track.

He is married to Amber and has 3 children, Parker, Gage, and Tylor.

Reagan Moczygemba

Coach Reagan Moczygemba starting teaching and coaching in 2011 and this will be his 5th year at Reagan. He previously taught and coached at Reagan from 2012-2015; then left for 4 years to Brandeis HS and New Braunfels Canyon HS.

He is currently Assistant Football and Assistant Baseball coach here at Reagan as well as a PE and Health Teacher. He holds a degree in Exercise and Sports Science and certificates in PE, Health, and Special Ed.

Moczygemba grew up in Bulverde and went to Smithson Valley HS where he played football and baseball. From there he went to Navarro College to play baseball for a year and followed that with 4 years of baseball at St. Mary's University.

He and his wife Brittany have two kids, Brayden and Blakely.

Dennis Remmers

Coach Remmers joined Reagan in 2020 as the Head Track and Field Coach and an Assistant Football coach. He is also a teacher in the Social Studies department at Reagan.

He graduated from high school in Stockdale, Texas, and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Texas San Antonio.  Coach Remmers spent 8 years coaching at Stockdale High School, and the last 3 years at Cuero High School, where he served as Head Boys Track coach and Assistant Football coach.

A few of his coaching highlights include breaking the Stockdale Track and Field school records in the 4×1, 4×2, 100M, 200M and 800M, finishing as Team Regional Runner up in 2016, and winning the 4A Division 2 State Title in Football in 2018 at Cuero High School.

Outside of coaching, Remmers enjoys camping, kayaking and cooking BBQ.

Michael Rourke

Coach Rourke joins Reagan in the 2019 - 2020 season as the Head Aquatics coach.

Coach Rourke graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos with a Bachelor's of Science in Exercise and Sports Science and Mathematics. While in school, he was part of the Track and Field team as a sprinter, mainly focusing on the 100m and 200m races.  He also was an All-State swimmer his sophomore through senior years of high school.  Following college, he spent 2 years as the head swim coach and a Geometry teacher at Eaton High School in Haslet, Texas.

He states that his highest goals for his athletes do not necessarily revolve around their performance in the pool.  While he is very competitive and will always strive to win, his the definition of success lies within each individual swimmer. His philosophy is to not to take a young person and make them into a great athlete; but to take a young person and make them into a great adult.

In his free time, Coach Rourke enjoys sports, reading, or spending time with family and friends.

Coach Saenz joins Reagan in 2020 as Assistant Cross Country and Assistant Track Coach - Throwing and an English teacher.

Prior to Reagan, he was an NCAA Division I Track and Field coach at the University of Michigan, the University of Louisiana Monroe, and at Central Michigan University. During these four years, he coached 3 NCAA All-Americans.

Saenz was a 2012 London Olympian in Shot Put.

Coach Saenz attended Auburn University where he earned his bachelors and masters degrees in Biomechanics.

He graduated from Rio Grand City High School where he participated in Football and Track and Field.

He is married to Erin and they have two children, Leo and Audrey.

Coach Jaime Sierra is the Varsity Basketball assistant coach, the Head Freshman Basketball coach, and Assistant Tennis coach. He joined Reagan in 2013. He is a certified in the areas of Social Studies, Math, Science and Special Education. At Reagan, he has been a special education and math teacher.

He graduated from the The University of Texas at San Antonio where he earned a Bachelors Degree of Science in Kinesiology.

Coach Sierra graduated from Reagan High School in 2008 where he was a two year Varsity Basketball letterman.

He is married to his wife, Breanna, and they have a daughter, Emma, and son, Luke.

Coach Snyder joins Reagan in 2020 as Assistant Girls Soccer Coach and a teacher in Physics and Biology. He also has teaching certificates in Life Science and Composite Science and has been teaching Biology, Chemistry, and Physics for his career.

Prior to Reagan, Coach Snyder taught and coached at Hastings High School in Alief ISD. During his years there, he had a winning record for his Freshman and JV teams all 10 years.

Snyder received his degree from St. Mary's University in San Antonio majoring in Biology and Exercise &amp;amp; Sports Science. He also played for the St. Mary's Rattlers soccer team.

Coach Snyder is a proud NEISD alumnus, graduating from Roosevelt High School.

Snyder grew up with a father in the United States Air Force and that allowed him to travel and live in unique places like Japan and Germany.

Snyder is married to Lindsay and they have a son, Kian.

Rachel Torvik

Coach Rache Torvik started as the Head Volleyball Coach at Reagan in Spring 2018. Coach Torvik comes to Reagan after 11 years in the Judson ISD, first as the Head Coach at Judson HS and then for the past 2 years at Veterans Memorial. At Veterans Memorial, she served as the Math Department Chair, taught Algebra 1, and was the Head Volleyball Coach and Assistant Soccer Coach.

Before she began her coaching and academic career, Tovik played 2 years of collegiate volleyball at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. She then transferred and graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a BS in Kinesiology and a Minor in Math. Torvik is an NEISD graduate of Madison HS where she played both Volleyball and Soccer.

Torvik was also a member of the Junior Olympic Development Team for Road Cycling.

She is married and has two children, Hilmar and Haven.

Hayden Vesely

Coach Vesely is a 2011 graduate of St. Joseph High School in Victoria, Texas, where he played Football, Basketball, and Baseball, and received All-State Honors in each.

He earned a Baseball scholarship from Blinn Junior College, where he was a two year starter at numerous positions and received First Team All-Conference honors as an infielder in 2013.  After attending Blinn, he went to Texas A&M - Kingsville and played all positions on the field for the Javelinas. At Kingsville, he received All Conference Honorable Mention Utility Player in 2014, First Team All Lone Star Conference Utility Player, and Second Team All Conference starting Pitcher in 2015. He was also named Second Team All Region Utility Player during that season. A personal highlight was being named the Lone Star Conference and NCBWA Regional Hitter and Pitcher of the Week in the same week. He helped the Javelinas win a Conference Championship and make Regional appearances during his two years playing there.  In 2016, while finishing his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and minor in Business, Vesely began his coaching career as a student assistant.  He coached outfielders and hitters, helping the Javelinas reach the Regional tournament.

Prior to joining Reagan in 2017 as an Assistant Football Coach and History teacher, Vesely was at Victoria ISD.

Coach Vesely and his wife, Tara, have a son, Camden, and daughter, Ellie.

Gilbert Villarreal

Coach Gilbert Villarreal has been coaching boys soccer since 2003. In his 9 years as boys head coach at Reagan High School, Coach Villarreal has led the Rattlers to the playoffs every single year winning five District Championships, five Regional Tournament appearances, three Regional Finals, one Regional Championship and one State Final appearance.  Last year, he was named the 2018 State Coach of the Year for Texas High School Boys Large School. In 2020, he is serving as the President of the Texas Association of Soccer Coaches (TASCO). Prior to Reagan, he also coached soccer at Southside, MacArthur, and Steele High Schools.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Austin College in Sherman, TX.  While in college, Villarreal played soccer for the 'Roos.

Coach Villarreal is a product of NEISD, graduating from MacArthur High School.

He is married to wife, Laura, and has two boys, Ethan and Evan.

Coach Howard joined the Reagan Athletic staff in 2003 and is currently our Head Athletic Trainer for all sports. Prior to Reagan, Coach Howard spent 8 years in the field at Fredericksburg and Clemens High Schools.

Coach Howard graduated from Angelo State University with a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.  He is also a Certified Athletic Trainer and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

He attended San Angelo Central High School where he excelled in Basketball and Track.

Coach Howard is married to Lexy and they have two children, Hadlee and Hilton.
