Villarreal’s Head coaching experience: 147-70-45 in 12 seasons, including 101-25-27 in seven seasons at Reagan
Villarreal’s Highlights: In his first season during his second stint at the school, he guided the Rattlers within a victory of earning a berth to the UIL Class 6A state tournament. Reagan lost to Brownsville Lopez 1-0 in the regional final on a goal in the final three minutes.
Villarreal’s Quote: “To be awarded coach of the year, you need to have special players and parents, a supportive faculty, administration and school community, great coaching mentors and for me, most importantly, a wonderful, loving family at home. I’m blessed to have all of these people in my life, they deserve the credit.”
