Scannell commits to Princeton University for Baseball

Matt Scannell committed to Princeton University to continue his academics and play baseball. Scannell will play in 2020 for Reagan Baseball. Prior to joining Reagan in Fall 2019, Scannell attended St. Mary’s Hall and played Varsity Baseball for the Barons as both an outfielder and a pitcher since his Freshman year. Scannell has also played baseball for the South Texas Sliders since 2017.

Matt is a dual sport athlete and also is a starting Linebacker for Reagan Football.  Previously, he played Quarterback and Linebacker for St. Mary’s Hall since his Freshman year. Additionally, he lettered in basketball during his time as a Baron.

Baseball Head Coach, Chans Chapman, commented that Matt knows how to “take care of business on and off the field as evidenced by his commitment today”!
