As part of National Signing Day, Sarah Stevens signed her letter of intent to play women’s tennis at Our Lady Of The Lake University (OLLU). OLLU is NAIA and a member of the Red River athletic conference. In addition to playing tennis, Sarah plans to get her Bachelor of Science in Biology to study Nursing.
Sarah is a one-year varsity letterman. Prior to making the varsity team her senior year, Sarah was on JV-A. At the beginning of her senior year during the fall season, Sarah played line three doubles then moved up to play line two doubles in the spring season. Sarah’s efforts greatly contributed in the fall season when Reagan Varsity earned and was rewarded the 10th consecutive district win and winning Bi-District as well.
In addition to tennis, Sarah has served as a tennis coach during the summer for the Jewish Community Center (JCC), volunteered to be a fitness coach for the Alamo Racquetball Association ( ACRA), and volunteered for the YMCA organization.
We are excited to see what Sarah accomplishes as she continues to further her academic and athletic career at OLLU. Wings up!
