Reagan’s Totorica signs NLI with Xavier University

Kyle Totorica signed his National Letter of Intent today to play for Xavier University’s Men’s Tennis team. Xavier, located in Cincinnati, Ohio, is an NCAA Division I member and part of the Big East Conference.

Totorica is a four-year Varsity Letterman for Reagan Tennis. Playing Line 1 Singles and Doubles throughout his Reagan career, Kyle has achieved the following:

  • San Antonio Express News Player of the Year and All Area Team – 2021, 2019
  • UIL 6A State Tournament, 3rd Place, Singles – 2021
  • UIL 6A State Tournament, Finalist, Singles – 2019
  • Region IV Singles Champion* – 2021, 2019
  • District Singles Champion* – 2021, 2019
  • Varsity Team Area Champions – 2021, 2020
  • Varsity Team District and Bi-District Champions – 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018

*No District/Regional/State individual tournaments in 2020 due to Covid cancellations.

Prior to entering high school, Kyle had already established himself as one of the top players in the state earning the following recognition:

  • Ranked Top 5 in Texas, USTA Boys 14’s, 16’s and 18’s
  • Winner of the Texas Grand Slam 2018 – Boys 14’s
  • Ranked Top 10 in Texas, USTA Boys 12’s

In addition to his success on the court, Kyle has also performed in the classroom, earning a 4.3 weighted GPA for his first three years at Reagan and expects to graduate Summa Cum Laude.  Kyle also earned the Academic All District achievement in 2019 and 2020.
