At the UIL State Tennis Tournament, Freshman Kyle Totorica won his Quarterfinal Singles match 2-6, 6-2, 6-4 in a 2 1/2 hour match against Christopher Cequea-Rivero, of Katy Taylor HS. Then in the Semifinals, Kyle beat Avery Zavala, of Amarillo Tascosa HS, 6-3, 6-3.
Kyle is now one match from being the 6A Boys Singles State Champion! His Finals match begins tomorrow, Friday, at 8:30 a.m.
