Congratulations to Pierce Mnick, class of 2022, for signing his National Letter of Intent to play soccer for St. Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania. St. Francis is an NCAA Division I program and part of the Northeast Conference.

Mnick, a class of 2022 graduate, played Defense for Reagan Varsity Soccer for the past 3 years. He served as Team Captain this past year and has been an integral part of the Rattler’s success. This past season he earned both San Antonio Express News 28-6A Defensive Player of the Year and Reagan’s Defensive MVP awards. In addition, he has also been recognized as 1st Team All-State, 1st Team All-Region, 1st Team All-District, Academic All-State, and Academic All-District.

Head Coach Gilbert Villarreal commented, “Pierce was at the heart of our defense and helped lead our team this past year to an undefeated district championship and to the 5th round playoff game – Regional Final.  We wish him the best with his college soccer career. He has all the tools needed to excel at the next level.”

In addition to Reagan, Mnick played club soccer for SA City Elite Clubs National League (ECNL). Among his club accomplishments, he was a TASCO Senior All Star Selection and invited to play in the United States Soccer Academy in Houston, Texas.
