Reagan’s Maddie Collins signed her commitment today to play Volleyball for Blinn College. Blinn is an NJCAA Division I Volleyball program and part of the Region XIV Athletic Conference. Maddie will also co-enroll at Texas A&M University as part of the Blinn TEAM and plans to major in Psychology and then pursue a doctorate in Applied Behavior Analysis.

Maddie played volleyball for the Reagan Rattlers all four years, including this past season on the Varsity team which was a UIL 6A State Semi-finalist. During her time at Reagan, Maddie was recognized as TGCA Academic All-State and Academic All District.

Reagan Head Coach, Rachel Torvik, commented, “Maddie is an amazing teammate and human.  She is always full of energy and brings positivity to our team.  She embraced her role and was a crucial part of helping our program make it to State this year.  The entire coaching staff is so proud of Maddie and her commitment to continue to play volleyball.  I know that she is going to continue to do great things both on and off the court.  She is truly going to be missed.”

Maddie also plays for the San Antonio Force Volleyball team and has played on national club teams for the past eight years.

In addition to volleyball, Maddie served in the Peer Assistance Leadership and Service (PALS) program, volunteered with the Boy Scouts, and completed counselor training for Camp Flaming Arrow YMCA.

We wish Maddie continued success as a Buccaneer and Aggie! #GoBlinnBucs #GigEm
