Reagan’s Gabriella Martinez commits to run Track at UCCS

February 5, 2020

Reagan High School is proud to announce that Gabriella Martinez will be continuing her academic and athletic career at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.

Gabriella Martinez is one of Reagan Track’s finest 400M athletes.  She is an Academic All-District athlete, a four-year letterman, and serves her team as a member of the leadership team. Gabby is a multi-time District finalist, Area finalist, and Regional finalist as a member of the 1600M Relay—Gabby can cut in on second leg like nobody else! She was a Regional Champion and State Qualifier in the 800M Relay in 2019. In addition, Gabby was an integral part of three District, two Area, and two Regional Team Championships.  Head Coach Jennifer McHugh, called Gabby an “exceptional athlete” and one that “embodies the notion that adversity is meant to be conquered”.

We wish Gabby continued success at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs and can’t wait to see all of her future academic and athletic accomplishments!
