Oct. 12, 2017 – Reagan tennis defeated Johnson High School 10-2 to take home their 5th straight district title under coach David Daniel. Reagan High School’s Bailey Godwin and Kyndall Quiroz got on the board first with a 6-0, 6-0 win at girls #1 doubles. Boys #1 and #3 doubles had to dig deep and win 3rd set tie-breakers to put Reagan up 6-0. Johnson High School took the mixed doubles match to make it 6-1 going into singles play.
Kyndall Quiroz won at girls #1 singles to give Reagan a 7-1 lead. Johnson High School cut the lead to 6-2 when they took girls #3 singles when Ally Soderdahl defeated Orren Shachaf. Reagan then closed out the match with wins by Eber Rodriguez, Ruchi Sehgal and Jessica Hamdan.

Reagan starts playoffs with Bi-Districts next week on Oct. 17 vs the #4 seed Vista Ridge H.S. from Cedar Park, TX at 10am. The match will be played at San Marcos High School.
