March 3, 2019

March 2, 2019 – Reagan high school took 1st place in girls doubles and boys singles for the 2nd tournament in a row.  Bailey Godwin and Kyndall Quiroz beat the team of Rice/Coe from Boerne Champion in the finals 6-0, 6-0.  Kyle Totorica won a tough match against Ryan Koth of Boerne high school 6-2, 6-7, 10-7.  After jumping to a 6-2, 5-2 lead, Ryan Koth made a great comeback to take the 2nd set in a tiebreaker but Kyle regained momentum and took the deciding 3rd set tiebreaker 10-7.  Next up for Reagan tennis is the Kemah Invitational on March 29-30.  Kemah always hosts some of the top teams in the state and this will be a great test leading up to the District Championship on April 4th.
