Reagan Tennis Downs Madison 12-1 To Stay Undefeated in District

Reagan tennis defeated Madison High School 12-1 to stay undefeated in District play.  Through 3 team matches this year the varsity squad has only dropped 2 individual matches.  Getting the first win for Reagan was the freshman duo of Paulina Razo and Livia Washington who played #2 girls doubles and won 6-0, 6-0.  Paulina also won her singles match 6-0, 6-0.  Emily Higgs and Alissa Ortiz won at girls #1 doubles 6-0, 6-1.  On the boys side, Joseph Snyman and Jon Totorica played #1 boys doubles winning 6-2, 6-0.  Kyle Totorica led 6-2 at #1 boys singles when the team match was decided.

Next up for Reagan is Clark High School on Wednesday.  The match will be played at Northside Tennis Center at 4:30pm.  Clark High School is a new member of Northeast ISD.  Clark and Brandeis High Schools left Northside ISD with the new school alignment and both joined NEISD.  Clark has won the NISD District Championship 29 straight years while Reagan has won the NEISD District Championship 7 straight years.  With a win Wednesday, Reagan will have the inside track on being the District Champ 8 straight years.  Come out and support your Rattlers!!!
