Reagan Tennis Downs Johnson 10-3

October 11, 2018 – Reagan tennis defeated Johnson high school to finish the regular season undefeated in district play.  The match started with doubles play and it went down to the wire.  The girls swept the 3 doubles spots to give Reagan the early lead but Johnson high school won all 3 boys doubles matches to tie it up.  The mixed doubles duo of Jeffrey Xia and Alex Zink won a tough 3 set match 5-7, 7-6, 10-7 to give Reagan the 4-3 lead heading into singles play.  Bailey Godwin was the first singles match to get off the court with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Kimberly Duncan.   Kyndall Quiroz came off soon after with a 6-0, 6-1 win to give Reagan a 6-3 lead followed by wins from Kyle Totorica, Ruchi Sehgal, Bella Ortega and Jeffrey Xia.  With this victory Reagan earned the #1 seed for the Bi-District playoffs which begins on Monday.
