Reagan Takes Down Churchill
The Reagan Rattlers defeated the Churchill Chargers 11-9 on Monday afternoon in what was a back-and-forth battle for most of the game. The Rattlers took advantage of poor defensive play by the Chargers in the later innings to jump ahead and take the lead. Reagan’s defense stayed strong behind pitcher Presley Noriega to give her the win.
Shreya Fifadara and Avery Allen led the offensive attack with two singles apiece. A’mari McMath (triple), Sadie Eckles (double), Ashley Swetonic (single), Leila Reyes (single), and Presley Noriega (single) each contributed a hit.
The Rattlers have more Spring Break action on Wednesday. They will take on Roosevelt at noon.
