Reagan Swim was crowned the 2024 District Champions after a grueling District 28-6A championship competition held Jan. 26-27 at the Josh Davis Natatorium. Though the RRHS swim program has consistently placed first in the overall/combined category in recent years, this is the first time since 2019 that the team has come in first in both the women’s and men’s categories! The top 6 finishers in each event at districts will now advance to the Region VII Class 6A Championships on February 9-10, 2024. They join the three Reagan divers who already earned their spot at regions on Jan 25.
In addition to many Reagan athletes earning personal best swims, district records and Davis Natatorium records during the competition, Montse Spielmann (Junior) was named District Swimmer of the Meet and Coach Michael Rourke was named both the District Women’s and Men’s Coach of the Meet!
