After a banner season for the 2023-2024 Reagan Swim and Dive Team, nearly 120 athletes, coaches, and family members gathered at the Canyon Springs Country Club for an end-of-season awards banquet and senior farewell ceremony on April 24.
With plenty of accolades to go around for this accomplished team, awards were presented to over 32 letterman athletes, 38 district team members and 16 state team members. Of those honored, 16 earned All Region first team, 9 earned All Region second team, 18 earned All State first team, 13 earned All State second team and three athletes received All State honorable mention recognition.
Additionally, 11 athletes across 13 events are under consideration to be named National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches’ Association (NISCA) All Americans. NISCA All American denotes the top 100 fastest swim times in the United States.
Over the course of the season, the team also broke 10 school and state records!
