“Proud” isn’t enough to describe how this team makes us feel each week—but today was something even more special. With determination and hard work, Reagan delivered a flawless 12-0 victory over Lee High School.
The boys’ doubles lines and mixed doubles came out strong, securing confident wins with skillful play and high energy. On the girls’ side, line three earned an easy win with steady, confident play, while lines one and two brought the drama and fight that had the crowd on edge.
On line two, Heidi Wilkinson and Iris Wang dropped the first set 1-6 but refused to back down. With grit and focus, they stormed back to take the second set 6-4, then sealed the match in a thrilling tiebreaker.
On line one, Sabrina Scanlon and Naya Chreitah opened with a steady 6-3 win before finding themselves down 0-4 in the second set. With nerves high and the crowd holding its breath, they rallied with determination, positivity, and sharp focus to mount an incredible comeback, clinching the set 7-5. The cheers and energy from teammates courtside fueled their momentum and helped push them over the finish line.
The singles lineup carried the winning spirit through with straight-set victories from Pablo Alvarez, Ryan Totorica, Jairo Kirk, Nathan Washington and Evan Wang, who secured the overall team win before the remaining matches had even finished.
It was a day of grit, resilience, and true Rattler spirit.
