The Reagan Softball team opened up the 2025 season with a dominant 10-2 win over the Judson Rockets on Monday night. The Rattlers returned seven starters from last season, including pitcher, Ally Reyes. Reyes (So.) was dominant in the circle against Judson, ringing up 10 strikeouts and allowing just two hits over seven innings.
Despite the chilly temperatures, the Rattler offense came out hot, scoring three runs in the top of the first inning to take the lead and never looked back. Avery Allen (Sr.) and Sadie Eckles (Jr.) led the offensive attack with two hits apiece. Mila Mancias (Jr.), Mina Galvan (So.) and Eckles each drove in two runs.
The Rattlers head back to the diamond on Thursday for the start of a three-day NISD Tournament at the Paul Taylor Field House. They will face Kennedy at 1:00 and Stevens at 3:00.
