Reagan RHP Kaleb Rogers Commits to Texas

November 13, 2024

Kaleb Rogers, a standout right-handed pitcher and outfielder for Reagan High School, has committed to continue his academic and baseball career at the University of Texas at Austin.

A four-year varsity letterman, Rogers has been instrumental in the Rattlers’ success, helping the team win the district 28-6A title last spring. Over his first three seasons, Rogers has an impressive 17-1 record, positioning him as one of the top pitchers in Reagan’s history and potentially the all-time winningest
pitcher.

“Kaleb has been committed to Texas for a while, he’s going to one of the premiere baseball schools in the country, but you’d never know it from the way he approaches his workouts, practices, and games,” said Reagan Head Baseball Coach Chans Chapman. “He’s one of the hardest workers on the team — a
team leader. His teammates like him, and he does things the right way. That’s why he’s going to have unlimited amounts of success for Reagan this spring and once he gets to the University of Texas.”

Rogers is ranked as one of the top five right-handed pitchers in Texas in the class of 2025 by Perfect Game. His commitment to the sport extends beyond Reagan baseball; he has also competed with select teams such as Lobos Baseball, USA Prime, and MLB Develops/Breakthrough Series.
In 2024, Rogers also participated in several prestigious events, including the Hank Aaron Invitational, Texas Scouts Associations All-Star Game, Dream Series, Area Code Invitational, and Baseball Generations.

We wish Rogers a remarkable 2024 season with the Rattlers and a bright future with the Texas Longhorns! Follow his journey on Instagram at @KalebRogers_ _.
