Caden Crofts was simply on fire at the plate for Reagan. The designated hitter went 3 for 4, getting the Rattlers on the board in the 1st inning when he jacked a solo home run over the right field fence. Crofts doubled in the 3rd inning and singled in the 4th, just coming up short of hitting the cycle. The Rattlers were confident at the plate, with Jeter Battles, Michael Yzaguirre, and Matthew Butler all having 2 hits on the day. Butler was the leader in RBIs, with 3. Yzaguirre and Isaiah Robledo contributed to the high score with 2 RBIs each. Battles, Crofts, and Javi Cuevas scored 1 RBI each, as well.
Darden Wetherell started on the mound for the Rattlers and earned the win. He faced 12 batters in 3.1 innings, striking out 2, walking 1 and allowing 0 hits and 0 runs. Kyle Hoggatt came in for relief in the bottom of the 4th, striking out 2, walking 0, and allowing 2 hits and 1 unearned run.
The Rattlers showcased their speed on the bases, collecting 8 stolen bases. Crofts and Battles collected 2 each, and Caden Roy, Robledo, Butler, and “Big Mike” Yzaguirre collected 1 apiece.
