Reagan was confident at the plate and on the mound. The Rattlers were aggressive and patient at the plate, collecting 8 hits, 12 RBIs, and 6 walks. The Rattlers went up 3-1 in the 1st inning with back-to-back triples from Isaiah Robledo and Caden Crofts. 2 more runs were scored by Reagan in the bottom of the 2nd with skilled situational sacrifice flies by Jeter Battles and Robledo. The Rattlers roughed up Roosevelt in the bottom of the 4th, sealing their early victory with 9 more runs. Battles tallied 2 hits and 2 RBIs and Robledo hit another triple and tallied 1 RBI. Ryland Rangel had a satisfying outing in his first game of the year after recovering from arm surgery. He drew a walk in his first at-bat then collected 2 hits and 2 RBIs in the 4th inning with a line drive single to left field and a hard ground ball single to center field.
The pitching was extremely efficient, and the Rattlers were able to give 4 pitchers a chance to show their stuff. Kyle Hoggatt started on the hill, pitching 12 pitches to 4 batters, striking out 1, walking 0, and allowing 0 hits and 1 run (unearned). Luke Davis got his chance on the mound in the 2nd, pitching 11 pitches to 3 batters. He struck out 1, walked 0, and allowed 1 hit. Reagan got out of the inning with a double play from a fly ball to left field that was caught by Matthew Butler. Javi Cuevas completed the DP on the tag at second base. Cody Pictrowski faced 7 batters and pitched 29 pitches in 2 innings for the Rattlers, striking out 3, walking 1, and allowing 0 hits. Caleb Crider closed the game in the 5th inning, pitching 10 pitches to the last 3 batters. He struck out 2, walked 0, and allowed 0 hits.
The Rattlers ran wild on the base paths, collecting 5 stolen bases. Battles had 2, Elias Leon 1, Cuevas 1, and Butler 1.
