Reagan Rattlers Varsity Overcomes Johnson In Face Of Early 4-Run Inning. Final Score…14-5

Reagan Rattlers Varsity secured the victory thanks to eight runs in the fifth inning with a final score of 14-5. The Rattlers put the pressure on, lead by walks by Luke Sasser and Andrew Ermis, an error on a ball put in play by Jacob King and Ashton Beaird, a sac fly by Britton Moore, and a double by Brennan Greer. In the fifth an error scored one run for Reagan Rattlers Varsity, Sasser drew a walk, scoring one run, Moore’s sac fly scored one run for Reagan Rattlers Varsity, Greer doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs, Ermis drew a walk, scoring one run, and an error scored two runs for Reagan Rattlers Varsity. Billy Baehr led the Rattlers to victory on the pitcher’s mound. The hurler allowed two hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out one and walking one. The southpaw, Brit Moore, went two innings, allowing five runs on five hits, striking out one and walking one. The Rattlers racked up 13 hits. Peeples, Sasser, Ermis, and Greer all managed multiple hits for the Rattlers. Peeples led with three hits in three at bats. Sasser led with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with seven stolen bases.

Rattlers JV-A defeated Johnson 5-2 on Saturday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at two with the Rattlers JV-A batting in the top of the seventh when an error scored two runs for the Rattlers. Luke Davis was the winning pitcher for the Rattlers, lasting six innings, allowing four hits and two runs while striking out two. Rattlers tallied eight hits on the day. Caleb Cappuccio and Jett Thompson all collected multiple hits for the Rattlers, while Thompson and Cappuccio each collected two hits to lead the Rattlers.

Reagan Rattlers JV-B Takes High-Scoring Game From Johnson High School 11-6!
(Saturday, March 19)
Both pitching staffs had their hands full on Saturday in a high-scoring affair where the Rattlers JV-B bested Johnson, 11-6. Aiden Mlynek was the winning pitcher for the Rattlers. The lefthander went three innings, allowing three runs on five hits, striking out one and walking zero. Nolan Hussey threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Drew Harrington went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead the Rattlers in hits. Final Score was 11-6 with Reagan taking the win!
