Reagan Rattlers Make History on Senior Night at Water Polo Tournament

September 26, 2025 – Reagan vs. Churchill

The Reagan Rattlers Water Polo teams made a splash on Senior Night during their matchup against Churchill, marking a night full of milestones, hard-fought games, and celebration.

In a thrilling showdown, the Reagan Girls Water Polo Team secured an unforgettable 11-10 victory, marking the first district win in program history. The team battled through all four quarters, showing resilience, teamwork, and determination. The stands erupted in celebration as the final buzzer confirmed the historic win.

Head Coach Rourke shared his pride in the team’s effort and accomplishment:

“I am so proud of this team. Ladies with the first district win in program history. Boys with a hard-fought second half to keep it competitive. We continue to grow and progress.”
The Reagan Boys Team faced a tough Churchill squad, ultimately falling 7-14. Despite the loss, the boys fought hard, especially in the second half, showing grit and persistence that kept the pressure on their opponents.

Beyond the scoreboard, the evening was also a heartfelt celebration of Senior Night, honoring the dedication and leadership of the Rattlers’ senior athletes. These student-athletes have helped build the foundation of Reagan’s water polo program, and their legacy will continue to inspire future teams.
