Jackson Crider signed his commitment to continue his academic and baseball career at Drury University in Springfield, Missouri. The Drury Panthers are NCAA Division II and compete in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
Crider is a 2 year Varsity letterman for the Rattlers playing 1B and Pitcher. Among his contributions, he has been able to contribute to Reagan’s bullpen and DH when needed. He was also a member of the 2022 6A State Finalist team.
Jackson played select baseball for the South Texas Sliders. While with the Sliders, he played 1B, 3B and Pitcher and was named to several All Tournament Teams for hitting and pitching including: 2022 Texas Premier 17U State Championship All Tournament Team, 2021 WWBA 2023 Grads or 16U National Championship All Tournament Team, 2021 16U PG South World Series All Tournament Team, 2019 PGBA 14U South Zone Qualifier All Tournament Team, 2019 PGBA 14U P.A.S.T Time Kickoff All Tournament Team.
In addition to Baseball, Jackson also was in National Honor Society, Winner’s Circle Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and played Basketball and Football for Reagan in previous years. He also was a member of BSA Troop 650 and earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Jackson will graduate Reagan High School Summa Cum Laude with 7 AP classes completed.
