Reagan Volleyball placed 5th of 32 teams at the Texas Showdown and Senior Setter, Kearstin Davis, earned All Tournament honors.
Reagan went 6-0 in pool play on the first two days of the tournament defeating Poth, Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial, Pflugerville Connally, Judson, LaGrange, and Tomball. The Rattlers began the Gold bracket with their only loss in the tournament to Cedar Ridge (20-25, 25-16, 25-27). The Rattlers rallied back to defeat Madison (25-17, 25-16) and Grand Oaks (25-12, 20-25, 25-22) for 5th place overall. The team now has a 25-5 record, which includes the win over LEE in the District opener last week.
District play continues this week at Littleton Gym:
