Rattler Varsity Tennis – NEISD Invitational Overall Tournament Winners

The Rattlers Varsity Tennis team had an excellent tournament with some impressive results at the season opening NEISD invitational.

Some Notable results are as follows:

Boys Singles A-Draw – 1st Place – Kyle Totorica

Boys Doubles A-Draw – 1st Place – Deuce Daniel & Jon Totorica

Girls Doubles A-Draw – 2nd Place – Kara Greenlee and Alissa Ortiz

Girls Doubles A-Draw – 3rd Place – Emily Higgs and Paulina Zapato-Razo

Other notable mentions include:

Mixed Doubles – Mathew Kim & Darshini Mahesh and Imanol Avila & Livia Washington,

Boys Singles – Joseph Snyman

Girls Singles – Italia Valencia and Melanie Villareal

Boys doubles – Gavin Fonger & Hunter Alexander and Jackson Flummer & Coral Hatipkarasulu.

Each match was a hard fought tussle and and the caliber of tennis being played across all the draws was of an excellent standard. Overall our Rattlers won the Team Trophy for the event and walked away with another piece of hardware to kickstart the Spring season.

Great job to all who participated and a huge thank-you to all the parents and other supporters who came out in less than ideal weather (COLD!!) to support and cheer on our team.  Way to go Rattlers and on to the next event.
