Down 2-1 in the bottom of the 7th inning, the Rattlers mounted their comeback. Leadoff hitter for the inning, Matthew Butler, singled on a line drive to center field followed by a masterful bunt to the pitcher from Javi Cuevas that allowed him to reach first base. Next, Jeter Battles discombobulated the defense with a drag bunt to 3rd base causing an error and scoring Butler. With the score tied at 2, Cuevas on third base, and Battles on second base, the Wildcats intentionally walked Caden Crofts. With great confidence, Elias Leon stepped up to the plate and killed the ball to right field on the first pitch for a sacrifice fly, scoring Cuevas for the walk-off win.
