Over the past 2 days Reagan Wrestling hosted the Bill Gillespie Classic Tournament in Reagan’s Gym.
Today Reagan’s Varsity finished 3rd overall with the Boys Team going 4-1 and the Girls Team going 3-2.
Lake Travis-Boys (Loss) 48-24, Girls (Loss) 12-0
Uvalde- Boys (Win) 72-4, Girls (Win) 6-0
Ray- Boys (Win) 48-36, Girls (Win) 18-12
Glenn- Boys (Win) 39-36, Girls (Loss) 12-6
Clemens- Boys (Win) 58-11, Girls (Win) 12-12 (Exciting win on tie-breaker)
In addition, yesterday JV had five wrestlers placing first in their Round Robin Pools: Grant Schneiders, Bryce Whitethorn, Josh Stepan, Jay Garza and Mason Hinshaw.
The team will enjoy a nice break before heading into the 2nd half of the season, starting with a tough test at the Cy Fair Tournament in Cypress, TX on January 7-8.
