Rattlers Roll Past Roosevelt in 23–1 Blowout

Tuesday, March 10, 2026 – Karsten Holman drove in four runs on two hits to lead the Rattlers past Roosevelt 23–1 on Tuesday at Blossom Athletic Complex. Holman blasted a two-run home run to left field in the second inning and later added a two-run single in the same frame.

The Rattlers won thanks in part to 18 runs in the second inning.  Ollie Wetherell singled, scoring one run, Caine Chapman singled, scoring one run, Ricky Armstrong singled, scoring two runs, Holman homered to left field, scoring two runs, Wetherell drew a walk, scoring one run, Brody Beck singled, scoring three runs, Armstrong drew a walk, scoring one run, Holman singled, scoring two runs, Tony Gilbreath was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Ashton Robinson singled, scoring two runs, Beck was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, and a passed ball scored one run.

The Rattlers opened the scoring in the first after Bodie Weyman hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run. They added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Austin Nuetzling singled, and Beck walked, each scoring one run.

Connor Pictrowski earned the win for the Rattlers. The starting pitcher gave up one hit and zero runs over two innings, striking out four and walking one. Noah Eckles pitched three innings in relief for the Rattlers. The reliever allowed two hits and one run while, striking out five and walking two.

The Rattlers collected 15 hits in the game. Beck led with five runs batted in from the number eight spot in the lineup. The infielder went 1-for-2 on the day. Robinson, Armstrong, Holman, and Nuetzling each collected two hits. The Rattlers had patience at the plate, tallying 10 walks for the game. They stole four bases in the game. The Rattler defense were sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Brayden Gamez had the most chances in the field with six.

The Rattlers will travel to Boerne champion for their next game on Wednesday, March 11 at 1:00 p.m.
